Authentic expression of Nebbiolo cultivated in the hills of Langhe, the Langhe Nebbiolo by Massolino comes from vineyards located between 320 and 360 meters above sea level, on calcareous-clay soils rich in minerals. The harvest is manual, with careful selection of the bunches. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at controlled temperature, followed by aging for 12 months in large oak barrels to enhance the typicity of the grape variety. The wine presents itself with a brilliant ruby red color, with intense aromas of ripe cherry, withered rose, and sweet spices. On the palate, it is balanced, fresh, with fine tannins and a persistent finish. Versatile and gastronomic, it pairs perfectly with white meats, aged cheeses, and flavorful first courses.

THE COMPANY
The history of the winery Massolino began in 1896, the year Giovanni founded the company in Serralunga d'Alba. However, the first real winery was built by Giuseppe, Giovanni's son, who, along with his sister Angela, expanded the property by annexing other lands and in 1934 founded the Barolo and Barbaresco protection consortium. Giovanni, Camilla, and Renato, three of Giuseppe's children, brought the company to a turning point, thanks to the purchase of crus that are now true legends among enthusiasts: Vigna Rionda, Margheria, and Parafada.
Today, the company is led by brothers Franco and Roberto Massolino, assisted by their uncle Renato and Giovanni Angeli. In their work condenses the experience of an entire generation and the ambition of those who know they must honor a historic winery and a unique terroir, that of Serralunga d'Alba. In this picturesque medieval village, located on one of the beautiful hills of the Langhe, in the heart of the Barolo production area, the life of the winery Massolino animates, now an essential national reference for the production of high-quality wines.
