Barbaresco DOCG 'Serragrilli' 2019 (750 ml.) Marchesi di Barolo

Barbaresco 'Serragrilli' by Marchesi di Barolo is made from the vineyards located in Serragrilli, a gentle hill in the municipality of Neive facing south-west, where the Nebbiolo bunches receive the sun's rays until late in the evening. It matures for 9 months in oak barrels of different capacities, allowing the peculiar qualities to be brought out to the fullest. It completes its refinement in the bottle. The nose ranges from floral hints of wild violet to delicate spicy notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate it is firm and full-bodied but, at the same time, harmonious and balanced, with sweet tannins, never too evident, which ensure excellent longevity.

Marchesi di Barolo

In the heart of the picturesque hilly landscape of the Langhe, where the morning fog envelops the rows in a silent embrace, stands the prestigious winery Marchesi di Barolo. With roots that go back to 1807, this historic winery is a pillar of Piedmontese wine tradition, a silent witness to the transformation of Barolo into one of the most famous wines in the world.

Located in the village of Barolo, Marchesi di Barolo skillfully cultivates the Nebbiolo grape, the beating heart of its most iconic labels. Here, the land intertwines with history, giving rise to wines that are the result of a perfect balance between tradition and innovation. The winery has managed to combine ancient wisdom with modern winemaking techniques, while maintaining a deep respect for the territory and its peculiarities.

Among the gems of the production, the Cannubi and the Sarmassa stand out, two Barolo that embody the very essence of these lands. The Cannubi, with its velvety tones and a complexity that reveals itself slowly, tells of sun-drenched hills and breezes that caress the vineyards. The Sarmassa, on the other hand, surprises with its firm structure and intense aromas, a dance of fragrances that evokes the richness of the land from which it comes.

Every sip of a Marchesi di Barolo wine is an invitation to immerse yourself in Piedmontese wine culture, a journey through the history and traditions of a unique territory. Discover on Vino45 the labels of Marchesi di Barolo, an opportunity to experience a sensory journey that unites the elegance of the past with the vibrancy of the present.
