Barolo DOCG 2018 by Ceretto is produced according to the ancient custom of blending Nebbiolo grapes from different crus of the estate, located in the municipalities of La Morra, Barolo and Serralunga. The different characteristics of the soils make them complementary, resulting in a Barolo harmonious, complex and balanced, a perfect synthesis of Langhe tradition and the style of Ceretto. Cultivated using organic and biodynamic methods, it ferments in steel with long maceration and ages for at least 24 months in large oak barrels, which respect the varietal purity. On the nose, it expresses wilted rose, cherry, licorice and spices, while on the palate it is structured yet elegant, with dense and well-integrated tannins, and a mineral and persistent finish. Ideal with braised meats, game, tajarin with ragù and aged cheeses. A great classic of the Langhe, with a refined personality.
