Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2017 (750 ml.) - Le Chiuse

Brunello di Montalcino by Le Chiuse is their most representative wine. Mythical vineyard where Brunello Riserva Biondi-Santi was once produced, today it is managed with great wisdom by Simonetta, Ferruccio's granddaughter. Traditional style, aimed at preserving the history and the terroir. The harvest generally takes place earlier than the average of the area thus maintaining a good acidity to preserve the elegance and verticality of the wine and helping its longevity. The aging in wood is carried out exclusively in large 30HL Slavonian oak barrels for a period of about 3 years; the will is therefore to allow the wine to breathe but without being excessively influenced by the wood, respecting its natural evolution.

Le Chiuse

Among the lush hills of Tuscany, in the heart of Montalcino, stands the winery Le Chiuse, a true gem that combines history and tradition. Part of an ancient cru that once belonged to the famous Biondi Santi family, Le Chiuse today represents a symbol of classicism and elegance in the Tuscan wine scene. The land here, kissed by the sun and caressed by the winds, is the perfect natural theater for the cultivation of Sangiovese, the grape that gives life to one of the most iconic Italian wines: Brunello di Montalcino DOCG.

The production philosophy of Le Chiuse is based on a deep respect for local winemaking traditions, combined with an unconditional dedication to quality. Each cluster of Sangiovese is carefully cultivated, following methods that respect the harmony of the territory and its biodiversity. This approach allows the winery to produce wines that are not only authentic expressions of the terroir but also works of enological art that reflect the character and soul of Montalcino.

The flagship of Le Chiuse's production is undoubtedly their Brunello, a wine that embodies the elegance and complexity of Sangiovese. Each bottle tells a story of intensity and refinement, with aromas ranging from ripe cherry notes to hints of tobacco and leather, all wrapped in a tannic embrace that promises a long evolution over time. This Brunello is a tribute to the territory and tradition, an invitation to discover the depth and beauty of Tuscan viticulture.

Let yourself be seduced by the timeless elegance of Le Chiuse wines, available on Vino45, and experience a sensory journey that will take you into the heart of Montalcino, among its century-old vines and millenary history. An unmissable journey for lovers of quality wine and Italian tradition.
