The Champagne Brut Millesimé from V. Delagarde is made from grapes with an average age of 40 years from 5 traditional villages located from the Ardre valley to the Monts de Reims. The manual harvesting of the grapes at optimal ripeness involves a strict selection in the vineyard, to seek a natural degree of floral aromas in the semi-late harvests. For this cuvée of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir, only wines from the vintage are used. It is aged in the cellar for 9 years. A fresh and complex Champagne, with hints of yellow fruits and citrus, notes of yeast and brioche, followed by notes of white flowers, and a spicy finish of white pepper and vanilla with honeyed notes. Fine, balanced, and persistent. Limited production.

This champagne is fresh and complex, with hints of yellow fruits and citrus, notes of yeast and brioche, followed by hints of white flowers, and a spicy finish of white pepper and vanilla with honeyed notes. Fine, balanced, and persistent. Limited production.
THE HOUSE
The house V. Delagarde originates from two families, Delagarde and Delozanne, who have been passionate winemakers for six generations. Located 7 km apart, between the Monts de Reims and the Vallée de l'Ardre. Today, the vineyards extend over six villages covering 15 hectares and consist of Pinot Meunier (74%) known for its fruity and delightful aromas, Chardonnay (12.5%) which brings finesse and elegance, and Pinot Noir (13.5%) that contributes the body and power of the champagnes. The soils are predominantly clay-limestone, facing southwest. The production is pressed, vinified, and aged on the estate in the valley of Ardre. They are firmly committed to reasoned and sustainable viticulture. Parcel vinification allows for the appreciation of the richness of the two terroirs and enhances their characters. The wines mature for 3 to 10 years before being marketed mainly in France, throughout Europe, and even worldwide as far as Japan or South Korea.
