Champagne AOC Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Brut 'Comtes de Champagne' Millesime' 2012 (750 ml. deluxe box) Taittinger
The Champagne Blanc de Blancs Brut “Comtes de Champagne” is the best example of the Taittinger style and is always a vintage cuvée. It is made from 100% white grapes sourced from the 5 villages classified as Grands Crus for Chardonnay grapes (Avize, Chouilly, Cramant, Oger, Mesnil-sur-Oger). This cuvée is created using only first pressing juice. A small percentage (5%) of the blend is aged in fresh oak barrels to create the delicate balance of toasted notes in the final wine. The Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs remains in the chalk caves beneath Saint-Nicaise for up to 10 years before emerging to excite and delight the palates of wine lovers. It stands out for its elegance and finesse on the palate.

Taittinger
In the heart of the prestigious Champagne region in France stands elegantly the Maison Taittinger, a jewel of history and vinicultural refinement. Founded on solid family traditions, Taittinger is one of the few maisons still run by the founding family, a detail that reflects in every single bottle produced. Here, tradition marries innovation, gifting the world Champagne of extraordinary elegance and finesse.
The terroir of Champagne, characterized by chalky soils and a unique climate, provides ideal conditions for the cultivation of the three main grapes that give life to these prestigious wines: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. Among these, Chardonnay holds a place of honor, giving Taittinger wines an unmistakable freshness and lightness, distinctive notes that can be found in every glass.
Among the gems of Taittinger's production, the Comtes de Champagne stands majestic. This cuvée, made exclusively with Chardonnay grapes from the best Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs, is the symbol of pure elegance, with notes of citrus, white flowers, and a minerality that evokes the land from which it comes. Every sip is a journey between tradition and modernity, a sensory experience that tells the story of a timeless territory.
