Scotch Whisky Single Cask Peated 'Laphroaig' 16 Years 2005 (700 ml. metal box) Duncan Taylor

The Peated Single Malt Scotch Whisky 'Laphroaig' 2005 16 Years by Duncan Taylor is part of the 'Single Cask' line, meaning it is obtained from a single cask, synonymous with the highest quality. It was produced at the legendary Laphroaig distillery in Islay, renowned for its peated whiskies. Distilled in 2005 and aged in a single peated cask for 16 years, it was released in 2021 as Cask Strength whisky at 53.7%, without cold filtration or coloring. A fantastic whisky with notes of charcoal, barley, and spicy citrus. On the palate, it presents burning embers with an abundance of iodine, peat, and charred oak, along with hints of plum and citrus zest. The finish is of warm pepper, earthy, vegetal peat, and rich, spiced malt. Only 129 bottles produced. For connoisseurs and collectors.
