Marina Cvetic Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC Riserva is the symbolic wine of the Masciarelli line, sold in over 55 countries and celebrated by international critics, including the prestigious "World Top 100" by Wine Spectator. Made from 100% Montepulciano, it comes from selected vineyards at 400 m s.l.m. between Colle di Paolo, Fonte Filippo, Schiavone, and Colle Rosina. The crus are vinified separately, with custom fermentations and aging in barriques for 12-18 months, before the final blend and an additional rest in bottle for at least 6 months. The result is a wine that is deep, fresh, and balanced, with velvety tannins, great structure, and a complex aromatic weave, capable of evolving beautifully over time.

Masciarelli Tenute Agricole
Masciarelli Tenute Agricole is synonymous with winemaking excellence in Abruzzo. Founded in 1981 by Gianni Masciarelli, a charismatic and visionary figure, the company revolutionized the way wine is understood in Abruzzo, bringing Montepulciano and Trebbiano d’Abruzzo to international stages. With over 60 vineyards distributed across the four provinces of Abruzzo, Masciarelli cultivates a deep bond with its land, enhancing its pedoclimatic characteristics to highlight the character of each individual grape variety.
Its seven lines – from Villa Gemma to the elegant Marina Cvetic – tell a story of Abruzzo made of hills, mountains, and sea breezes, where tradition, innovation, and sustainability coexist harmoniously. The beating heart of the company is San Martino sulla Marrucina (CH), but the Castle of Semivicoli, now a charming relais, represents the refined face of Abruzzo wine tourism.
Every Masciarelli bottle is a tribute to the biodiversity of the “Green Region of Europe” and today you can discover it also on Vino45, an exclusive selection of great Italian wines. For those seeking authenticity, elegance, and a story to drink.

Color: deep and concentrated ruby red, with garnet reflections that announce its evolution and important structure. The brightness is intense, and the color density suggests a full-bodied wine.
Bouquet: complex and enveloping, opening with notes of ripe sour cherry, dried plum, and withered violets. It follows with spicy hints of licorice, sweet tobacco, vanilla, and black pepper, derived from the long aging in wood. It closes with elegant references to leather, cocoa, and a balsamic hint that adds depth and verticality.
Taste: wide and decisive, with a dense yet velvety tannic structure. The sip is warm, enveloping, and structured, with an excellent balance between freshness and smoothness. The finish is long, persistent, and rich in fruity and spicy returns, confirming the elegance and evolutionary potential of the wine.
