Terre Siciliane Malbec IGT "Tanaurpi" by Pellegrino is the first Sicilian Malbec, born from a small 2.4-hectare plot in the heart of the Gazzerotta Estate, where sun-drenched vineyards and calcareous soils give rise to a wine of true character. Tanaurpi is a vintage wine: contemporary, fresh, and enjoyable, yet marked by a strong identity. Crafted by Cantine Pellegrino, it undergoes fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel to preserve the pure fruit expression, followed by a short aging period. On the nose, it reveals intense aromas of ripe plum, cherry, and subtle spice. The palate is smooth, balanced, and persistent, with velvety tannins and an elegant finish. A red that blends international flair with Sicilian soul, perfect alongside grilled red meats, aged cheeses, and spiced dishes.

Color: Deep and intense ruby red, with evident purple reflections that underline its youth. The brilliance of the wine suggests good freshness and vivacity.
Bouquet: Complex and vigorous. Notes of ripe red fruits such as cherry and blackberry emerge, followed by hints of plum, black pepper and a light sweet spiciness. There is no lack of floral nuances of violet and a barely noticeable balsamic background, typical of Malbec grapes in warm territories.
Taste: Full and round, with a good tannic but velvety structure. The maturity of the fruit is reflected in the softness of the entry, balanced by a fresh acidity that supports the drink. The finish is long, with fruity and spicy hints that return coherently to the nose.
Overall Rating: 84/100
