The Vino Nobile di Montepulciano from De' Ricci is an excellent pure Sangiovese with a delicately fruity aromatic profile and subtle briny and spicy notes. It is hand-harvested in crates, followed by selection of bunches and grapes on sorting tables. After vinification in steel, it undergoes a maceration of about 22 days. The aging takes place in tonneaux and large barrels of 20 Hl for about 15 months, followed by at least 9 months of bottle aging. Its development on the palate is complete and articulated, crunchy and wide, fresh and rich in chiaroscuro. A complete and complex wine, with a radiant finish. Multi-awarded.

THE WINE
The Nobile di Montepulciano wine from De' Ricci is an excellent pure Sangiovese with a gently fruity aromatic texture and slight saline and spicy touches. Harvested manually in crates followed by selection of bunches and grapes on sorting tables. After fermentation in steel, there is a maceration of about 22 days. The aging takes place in tonneaux and large barrels of 20 Hl for about 15 months, followed by at least 9 months of bottle aging. Its mouthfeel is complete and articulated, crunchy and ample, fresh and rich in chiaroscuro. A complete and complex wine with a radiant finish. Multiple award-winning.
THE COMPANY
Enrico Trabalzini founded the company in 2015 and manages it with his wife Antonella and his sons Nicolò and Francesco. His passion for the vine and wine dates back to 1995 when he replanted the vineyards inherited from his father. As a boy, he was practically 'adopted' by the De' Ricci family, which is why the Trabalzini were able to purchase the palace with the magnificent historic cellars described as a 'cathedral of wine.' Enrico, trained as an agronomist, oversees the 30 hectares of vineyard concentrated mainly around the Fontecornino estate, where the new winery is managed by his son enologist, Nicolò, with the support of consultant Maurizio Sentini. The De' Ricci philosophy aims to achieve excellence while fully respecting the typicality of the territory.
