Etna Rosso by Tenuta delle Terre Nere is the fruit of nerello mascalese grapes combined with a residual portion of nerello cappuccio from vineyards located on the northern slopes of Etna at altitudes between 600 and 900 m. After fermentation, the wine matures about 10 months in large French wood and 1 month in steel before being bottled. The result is a red legitimate son of the great volcano: thanks to the prevalent share of nerello mascalese, it has the fabric to evolve splendidly over a period of 6 or 7 years. A wine to try.

Tenuta delle Terre Nere
In the enchanting setting of Etna, where earth and fire dance in an eternal embrace, stands the Tenuta delle Terre Nere. This winery, a symbol of a unique territory in the world, was born with a clear and ambitious goal: to enhance the volcanic crus, bringing out the extraordinary richness and diversity that the Etnean soil can offer. Here, on the slopes of the still-active volcano, viticulture becomes an art that challenges nature, transforming each harvest into an unrepeatable masterpiece.
The Tenuta delle Terre Nere devoutly embraces the DOC Etna, dedicating itself to the cultivation of indigenous grapes such as Nerello Mascalese and Carricante, varieties that best express the character and identity of their terroir. The production philosophy is rooted in respect for the land and natural cycles, adopting sustainable agricultural practices and winemaking methods that enhance the purity and authenticity of the fruit.
Among the most emblematic labels stands out the Etna Rosso Santo Spirito, a wine capable of narrating, sip by sip, the magic of these lands. With its complex and fascinating bouquet, ranging from notes of ripe red fruits to mineral and spicy nuances, each glass transforms into a sensory journey through the lava paths and blue skies of Etna.
