Champagne Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru by Reine Dhuicq is fresh and intriguing. Is made in Côte des Blancs, Chouilly, Le Mesnil sur Oger on chalky soil, rich in clay and limestone from Chardonnay vines of approximately 30 years. It is vinified for 2/3 in oak barrels and aged in the same barrels used for 10 months; the further 1/3 is vinified and aged in steel vats. The blending of the wine takes place maintaining the proportions. Fruity notes of apple and citrus, notes of yeasts and brioches, a light spiciness and delicate floral notes on the finish. Fresh and intriguing on the palate, with fruity notes of apple, pear and citrus fruits, hints of yeast, brioches and a delicate toasting followed by light floral notes; a light spiciness on the finish.
