The Brunello di Montalcino by Palazzo is vinified according to ancient tradition, has an intense ruby red color that with aging tends to garnet. After 36 months in oak and barrique barrels, which are followed by 8-12 months of bottled rest, it is ready to be marketed, but it requires waiting at least for a couple of years. Its scent is broad, persistent with hints of undergrowth, red jams and liquorice, ethereal after a long aging. It has a dry taste, quite tannic and soft.
