Kalterersee Classic Superior 'Quintessenz' by Kellerei Kaltern is a refined and fruity wine. It is part of the Kaltern high-end line, one of the most important and representative realities of the South Tyrolean territory. It ages in wood for a period of about 6 months, before being bottled. Very delicate fruity aromas, with notes of cherry, raspberry and strawberry, well accompanied by light hints of almond. In the mouth it shows a nice fullness and flavor, with soft tannins and a fruity finish of great elegance. Excellent accompaniment to light appetizers, cold cuts and fresh Tyrolean cheeses or with not too elaborate white meats.
Kalterersee Classic Superior 'Leuchtenberg' by Kellerei Kaltern is a wonderfully dry and aromatic red wine. It is part of the Le Selezioni line which includes wines with a representative character of their terroir. Obtained from hand-picked grapes of the best quality, matured in historic vineyards with low-yielding ancient plants. Made from 100% Schiava grapes, it ages 4 months in steel and cement. Clear floral and fruity notes of lilies, roses, plums and blackberries as well as aromas of cinnamon, chocolate and walnut added by the expansion in the concrete. Only 2 grams of residual sugar give the palate balance, fleshiness and density. Wonderfully fresh and lively, beautiful length. Perfect with appetizers and Tyrolean specialties, speck and cold cuts, white meats and fresh cheeses.
'St. Magdalener - Grobner' by Kellerei Kaltern is a full-bodied and structured red wine. It is part of the Le Selezioni line which includes wines with a representative character of their terroir. Obtained from hand-picked grapes of the best quality, matured in historic vineyards with low-yielding ancient plants. Blend of 90% Schiava and 10% Lagrein grapes, aged 7 months in large oak barrels. Typical bouquet of the grape with cherry aroma and a slight hint of vanilla. Good structure, lively tannins with a nice persistence in the aftertaste. Full-bodied red, lively and sweet. To combine with meat dishes, roasts and Mediterranean cuisine.
