Grand Cru 'Kirchberg de Ribeauville' by Domaine Jean Sipp is a pure Riesling born in the Ribeauvillé area, in Alsace. This terroir benefits from an exposure that gives it excellent sunshine. Clayey and marly soils, often very stony, support this vineyard located at an altitude between 270 and 350 m. The vines are grown according to the Alsatian tradition and in organic viticulture. The refinement on the fine lees is carried out until bottling. Wine with superb minerality accompanied by a long and balanced acidity, characterized by an exotic note of lime and grapefruit. Full and concentrated palate, superb and persistent aromas, evolution that mixes salinity and a light sweetness on a very ripe fruit. A delight.

Domaine Jean Sipp
In the heart of Alsace, a land of extraordinary beauty and winemaking tradition, Domaine Jean Sipp is a beacon of authenticity and winemaking mastery. This historic Alsatian winery is nestled in a landscape of rolling hills and vineyards that stretch as far as the eye can see, a unique terroir that gives the wines an unmistakable personality. The origins of the Domaine date back to generations of winemakers who have combined tradition and innovation, always placing qualitative excellence at the center.
The heart of the Domaine Jean Sipp production is found in the prestigious AOC Alsace, a denomination that brings to mind aromatic white wines of rare precision and consistency. The grapes grown, among which the noble varieties of Riesling and Gewürztraminer stand out, are the fruit of a terroir that favors slow ripening, allowing for the development of complex aromatic profiles and unparalleled nuances.
Among the main labels, the Riesling Grand Cru Kirchberg emerges as an authentic masterpiece. This wine embodies the elegance and depth typical of the best Alsatian Rieslings, offering hints of white flowers, citrus and a minerality that evolves gracefully over time. Each sip is a journey through the nuances of the terroir, an experience that fascinates and conquers the palate.
We invite all wine lovers to discover the extraordinary labels of Domaine Jean Sipp on Vino45. A unique opportunity to let yourself be transported by the magic of Alsatian whites, where tradition, territory and passion blend in a perfect combination of taste and history.

THE COMPANY
Jean-Guillaume took over the reins of the estate in 2014. After his training at the Lycée Agricole de Rouffach, he followed internships with numerous winemakers including Domaines Zind-Humbrecht in Alsace, Olivier Leflaive in Burgundy, Marcel Guigal at Ampuis in the Rhône and Domaine Mont-Redon in Chateauneuf-du-Pape. He also approached other New World vineyards, such as Chile, Argentina, South Africa and New Zealand. First of all in the vineyards, where he developed the cultivation of the soil and affirmed his commitment to the environment. His efforts were rewarded by the HVE certification (High Environmental Value in 2019) and the Organic certification in 2021. In the cellar he produces drier wines than his ancestors, of beautiful complexity and with watchmaking precision. He chose single parcel vinification, and it was following this choice that we saw the appearance of Riesling Grossberg and Riesling Haguenau, but also of a dry Pinot Grigio Hagel.
