The Spumante Rosé Réserve Brut from Hoffmann & Rathbone is produced in Southern England, in Sussex with views of the Channel. A family-run winery that uses traditional methods while always looking to the future. 85% Pinot Noir, 15% Chardonnay. The vineyards benefit from a moderate climate, thanks also to the influence of coastal breezes. Manual harvesting and gentle pressing. Fermentation in steel and part in wood, the latter then added to the final must for a more marked structure. It ages in the bottle for 40 months. Persistent aroma, lively with a finish of lemon notes. Fruity wine with well-balanced acidity. Notes of strawberry, red fruits, peach with a touch of floral notes of rose petals. A "Champagne" from across the Channel.
