The 'Bòggina C' Riserva from Petrolo is the 'Grand-Cru' of Sangiovese, a high-class and full-bodied organic red wine, born from old vines planted in 1951-52 and cultivated in the heart of the Val d'Arno. A pure Sangiovese, it comes from the best vineyards and is aged for 16/18 months in 22 hl barrels and 7 hl tonneaux made from strictly selected French oak. Complex and layered aromas, fruity notes enriched by hints of withered flowers, spices, and touches of lavender and tobacco. An elegant and refined sip, deep, with a full-bodied, austere, and material texture, thanks to the excellent integration of the tannins in the overall structure. A red with a multifaceted and complex soul, both on the nose and in the mouth, for an extraordinary tasting experience. Only 6,500 bottles produced.
