Irpinia Aglianico by Bellaria is a red wine of great character and elegance, a true symbol of the winery’s production philosophy and a quintessential expression of the Aglianico grape. It comes from a careful selection of hand-harvested grapes grown in ancient vineyards located in the Taurasi area, between Paternopoli and Montemiletto—zones renowned for their altitude, soil, and climate. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, followed by malolactic fermentation and at least 12 months of aging in French oak barriques, which give the wine structure and refinement. The nose reveals intense aromas of cherry, black cherry, and sweet spices. On the palate, it is rich, balanced, and persistent, with notes of cinnamon, vanilla, and a harmonious finish. With age, it develops orange hues and an increasingly complex bouquet. Perfect with roasts, game, lamb, and aged hard cheeses.
