The Brunello di Montalcino 'Poggio di Sotto' from ColleMassari has always been considered one of the great classics of the denomination. The production area is that of Castelnuovo dell’Abate, in the valley of the Orcia River. The grapes are hand-picked, and in the winery, everything is done in the most traditional way. Aging takes place in oak barrels for 40 months and in bottle for 12 months. Complex and elegant, it requires time to discover all its facets. A varied bouquet ranging from red fruits to autumn hints of spices and candied fruit. A fresh and mineral note balances the wine's austerity with well-balanced tannins and an elegant, delicate finish. A unique expression of Brunello di Montalcino.
