Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 'Poggio di Sotto' 2018 (750 ml.) ColleMassari

The Brunello di Montalcino 'Poggio di Sotto' from ColleMassari has always been considered one of the great classics of the denomination. The production area is that of Castelnuovo dell’Abate, in the valley of the Orcia River. The grapes are hand-picked, and in the winery, everything is done in the most traditional way. Aging takes place in oak barrels for 40 months and in bottle for 12 months. Complex and elegant, it requires time to discover all its facets. A varied bouquet ranging from red fruits to autumn hints of spices and candied fruit. A fresh and mineral note balances the wine's austerity with well-balanced tannins and an elegant, delicate finish. A unique expression of Brunello di Montalcino.

Immersed in the heart of Maremma, the winery ColleMassari is a gem nestled among the gentle Tuscan hills, where winemaking tradition and respect for nature harmoniously blend. This corner of Tuscany, known for its wild and unspoiled beauty, is home to great wines that tell the story of a unique land. The ColleMassari estate, with its organic approach, represents a beacon of excellence and sustainability, where each label is a tribute to the territory and artisanal care.

The vineyards, kissed by the sun and caressed by the sea breeze, host native varieties such as Sangiovese and Ciliegiolo, which find their most authentic expression in these soils. Here, among orderly rows and green hills, the Montecucco Rosso Riserva is born, the pride of ColleMassari's production. This wine, with its complex structure and enveloping aromas of red fruits and spices, embodies the essence of Maremma and the passion with which it is produced.

Discover on Vino45 the wines crafted by ColleMassari, an invitation to explore the authentic flavor of Tuscany and be enchanted by the beauty of a territory that captivates and inspires.
