Isola dei Nuraghi IGT ‘Disco Volante’ by Concaentosa is a pure Vermentino grown near Palau, on clay soils rich in granite, facing northeast and constantly influenced by sea breezes. The environmental context – spontaneous trees of myrtle, juniper, figs, and almonds, along with the presence of beehives – promotes a balanced ecosystem and sustainable viticulture. Fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature, aging on fine lees for a few months. Bright straw yellow, it offers notes of lemon zest, Mediterranean scrub flowers, white peach, and iodine on the nose. Tight, savory, enveloping palate, with great length and aromatic precision. Ideal with raw seafood, amberjack tartare, spaghetti with bottarga, sea urchin risotto, grilled fish, and fresh soft cheeses. Packaging of 6 bottles.

The Isola dei Nuraghi 'Disco Volante' by Concaentosa is an extraordinary Vermentino with a remarkable structure, absolutely iconic. It is born near Palau on a sun-kissed land caressed by the gentle briny wind, located right across from Corsica. Large granite blocks characterize the Gallurese identity of the place, and scattered throughout the land are fig, almond, myrtle, and juniper trees that rise from the clay, along with beehives that certify an environmental quality of extraordinary worth. From Vermentino grapes, whose typical expression is influenced by a land capable of expressing a unique organoleptic typicity, combined with a mystical component that gives it an extraordinary structure, but in the end, its true secret is simplicity.
THE COMPANY
The Concaentosa project: seventy hectares of land near Palau, seven hectares of vineyard (which are twelve). A sun-kissed land caressed by the gentle briny wind, located right across from Corsica. Large granite blocks characterize the Gallurese identity of the place, and scattered throughout the land are fig, almond, myrtle, and juniper trees that rise from the clay, along with beehives that certify an environmental quality of extraordinary worth. The company is the result of the courage, bravery, and the ability to dream of its founder, Emanuele Ragnedd. The company became famous thanks to the Shar brand recognized worldwide. This brand was in honor of the Sherdan, the sea warriors who inhabited Sardinia a thousand years ago. Emanuele Ragneda grew up on an island and still lives there when he is not traveling. He has sought to convey his love for the history and traditions of the island in the wine, reflecting the unique characteristics of the terroir. The wine he produces has quickly made its way into the vast sea of global oenology, finding its place in the wine lists of the best restaurants in the world.
