Barolo DOCG 'Big 'd Big' 2014 (750 ml.) - Rocche dei Manzoni

'Big' d Big 'Barolo by Rocche dei Manzoni is made from only Nebbiolo grapes from the Mosconi area vineyards. Powerful but elegant wine, it is a Nebbiolo aged for about 3 years in cask and for another year in the bottle, before being marketed. Its aromas of cherry, blackberry, violet, vanilla and roasted make it an intense and complex wine. On the palate, this wine from Piedmont has a velvety consistency, although the tannins are still quite strong, given the youth of the wine. Wine to keep, potentially up to 30 years.

Rich in history and blessed with the best locations, the vineyards of Podere Rocche dei Manzoni are all situated within the municipality of Monforte d'Alba. Here our products are born.

The wines of Podere Rocche Dei Manzoni realize a perfect marriage of tradition and innovation.

The high quality of Podere Rocche dei Manzoni's products is guaranteed not only by meticulous vinification processes and a constant search for improvement but also by a strenuous work performed in the vineyard, through short pruning and thinning out of grapes to obtain very low output of grape/hectare.

Address:

Borgo Manzoni, 3 Manzoni Soprani, 12065 Monforte D'alba (CN), Italy

Color: ruby red with light garnet reflections. Bouquet: ample and elegant, reminiscent of dried marasca and cocoa, tobacco and goudron. Taste: soft, round, austere, with extremely velvety tannins. Of excellent persistence.
