Bolgheri Rosso Superiore DOC 2019 (750 ml.) Grattamacco

The Bolgheri Rosso Superiore from Grattamacco is one of the most iconic labels of the Tuscan coast, a red wine of extraordinary elegance and depth. It comes from a 10-hectare vineyard located at 100 meters above sea level, in the heart of Bolgheri, on a soil exposed to the sea and shaped by the winds. The blend combines Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and an unusual presence of Sangiovese, which gives the wine a distinctive identity. After fermentation, it ages for 18 months in first and second passage barriques, followed by a resting period in the bottle. On the nose, it releases intense aromas of blackcurrant, wild strawberries, and cedar wood, with elegant hints of rosemary and black pepper. On the palate, it is silky, harmonious, and deep, with a soft yet complex structure and a surprising balance. A red wine of great stature, representing the authentic soul of Bolgheri with a touch of originality.
