Barolo DOCG Bricco 'Gattera' 2015 (750 ml.) - Cordero di Montezemolo

Barolo Bricco 'Gattera' by Cordero di Montezemolo is made from Nebbiolo vines at the foot of the centenary Cedar of Lebanon. One hectare, the highest part of the Gattera hill, south / west side. Old vines, rich and clayey soil and 300 m.s.l.m. they guarantee an ideal maturation for an austere and complex Barolo. Long-lived wine that ages slowly and constantly in the bottle. Great expressions even after several decades. Eternal.

Are currently 19 generations from 1340 have followed in the management of Monfalletto properties in the municipality of La Morra, in the middle of the Barolo wine production area.

Even today, the property is entirely family run. Giovanni Cordero di Montezemolo and his children Elena and Alberto are the protagonists of this millennium.

The historic single body, rare for the area, 28 hectares of vineyards covers all sides of the hill and has always grown with the different local varieties, selected and implanted differently depending on sun exposure, soil type and altitude.

Address:

Regione Annunziata, 67, 12064 La Morra (CN), Italy

Color: intense garnet red. Bouquet: warm and ripe, typical sensations of jam, raspberry, licorice, cherry and camphor. Taste: soft with a remarkable structure with fine and persistent tannins.
