Sake

Sake indicates the alcoholic beverage in general, as well as referring to the specific liqueur that is obtained from the fermentation of rice. For the sake, in fact, there is the word "Nihon-Shu" (Shu is another reading of the ideogram Sake) and that means the Sake (wine, liquor) of Japan. The Sake is auspicious, deeply linked to the culture of the Rising Sun and is often used in religious rituals, as well as accompanying the daily life and meals of the Japanese.

The qualitative classification of sake is rather difficult and is based on the degree of refining rice, providing for 9 types, to which must be added the various statements on the production method and aging. Simplifying normally those distributed by us are usually Junmai Daiginjo-shu coon with a degree of refining of less than 50% and the Junmai Ginjo-shu less than 60%. They are excellent products with excellent aromas, which could blindly be traced back to an elegant white wine.
