In 1929 André Chevillon, an inhabitant of the area, decides to plant cuttings on the foundations of a vineyard cultivated since ancient times; the area, overlooking the sea, is located on the territory of La Londe Les Maures, on the coast of Varois, which has always been a vineyard area due to the exceptional climatic conditions and rich soils. Château Sainte Marguerite in 1955 was declared a Cru Classé Côtes de Provence vineyard, with a total of 102 ha, from which mainly rose wines, 65%, 20% of reds and 15% of whites are produced. In 1977, Brigitte and Jean-Pierre Fayard bought the property of Château Sainte Marguerite and since then the family has pursued the pursuit of excellence, passionately creating these wines of absolute refinement. The grapes are harvested at full maturity and carefully transported to the cellar. The harvest is supported by a powerful cooling system limiting degradation and oxidation during the winemaking process. The company is certified organic and vegan.
